Will my rates go up?
Insurance companies will not raise your individual rates due to hail damage is considered an "Act of God" to insurance companies. They may increase rates in general for the region in which the damage occurred. Therefore, it is wise to repair your vehicle in case the rates do go up.
What if I don't have my car repaired?
If your vehicle is again damaged by hail or accident, the amount the insurance paid you will be deducted from the amount they will pay you the second time. You, in turn, are paying two deductibles at one time. Don't risk it!
How long do I have to fix car?
Vehicles should be repaired as quickly as possible. At the time of a hail storm, man power and resources are readily available. This allows the process to go faster and is therefore cheaper.
How long before I can claim my hail damage?
Most insurance companies will pay on a claim within 30 days to a year. Contact your insurance company to be sure.
